I wish I could figure out why images I take with my iPhone vertical show up sideways on this site *except* if I view them on my phone. It’s like the iPhone knows which way is up but WordPress doesn’t. And oddly enough when IFTTT fires up and sends it on to Flickr, it’s right side up again. Weird.
3.5.1 did a number on media uploads in service to the UI. I’m wondering if the problem lies therein. I would submit this as a bug — I had a client where the images were inverted.
I’ve got one from back in December where it was doing the same thing. http://www.timmmmyboy.com/2012/12/benjaminharwood-drgarcia-a-hint/ I’m thinking it has to be an issue where iOS and Flickr are reading specific EXIF data from the photo about which way is up that WordPress is not.
